LIVING THROUGH ART: One of life’s worthiest goals is to learn who we are and how we can best contribute to the world and the people we love. Some people are content never leaving their comfort zones. But others are compelled to leave our comfort zones to explore, face our fears, and actively express ourselves creatively. Sharing this creative expression by performing songs, dance, music; exhibiting paintings, photographs and sculpture; publishing writings; teaching or otherwise sharing ideas and discoveries is an essential part of human society. If no one ever wrote, drew, recorded, photographed or otherwise documented their experiences, humanity would have no history, no story at all. Our shared history is nothing more than the physical evidence created and preserved by people who noticed events and thought they were important.
Living Life •	Give People more than they expect and do it cheerfully. •	Don’t believe all you hear, spend all you have or sleep all you want. •	When you say “I’m sorry” look the person in the eye. •	When you lose, don’t lose the lesson. •	Spend some time alone •	Open your arms to change, but don’t let go of your values. •	Be gentle with the earth. •	Don’t let a little dispute injure a great friendship. •	Once a year go somewhere you’ve never been before. •	Don’t judge people by their relatives. •	Read more books and watch less television. •	Not getting what you want is sometimes a stroke of luck.
